LP Gas service / LP Gas tank testing / Forklift Compliance Testing

Here at ALL-TEK Automotives we strongly believe in preventative maintenance of your LP Gas system.

LP Gas service is a separate service that is required every 12 months or 20,00Km intervals. This is an additional service from your normal engine maintenance requirement set by vehicle manufacturers guidelines.

By performing this maintenance service you will have a pleasant and hassle free motoring. Also you will get the best economy and therefore the most fuel saving and efficiency.

For as little as $145 per year you can have peace of mind and trouble free, safe reliable motoring.

LP Gas tank test

Its mandatory to have the LP Gas cylinder of your car tested every 10 years.

Failing to do so, makes your vehicle unroadworthy and uninsurable. Our technicians are trained to check the LP Gas tank for leaks and test date so that we can advise the customer whenever the vehicle is getting a gas service.

Typically there are 2 types of tanks that will vary in price when a 10 year tank test is performed.

The most common type is the 4 valve tank. See picture below. This costs cheaper to test as there are 4 individual valves so they can be tested individually and replaced as required. The LP Gas tank has to be removed from the vehicle so that we can examine all of the external surface area, as well as the internal surface and further examine of the welds and seems. Finally the AFL valve is replaced, and then the LP Gas vessel is reinstalled into its place and tested for leaks.

The multi-valve LP Gas tank has to be removed from the vehicle so that we can examine all of the external surface areas, as well as the internal surface and further examine of the welds and seems. Finally a complete new valve assembly has to be replaced, and then the LP Gas vessel is reinstalled into its place and tested for leaks.
